Virtual Art Show at Ossining Public Library and Abbott House
In collaboration with the Ossining Public Library and Abbott House, Something Good in the World brings you artwork and creative writing of refugee children from Central America in a virtual art show.
Click HERE to enjoy the artwork, photos, and creative writing of refugee children from Honduras, Guatemala, El Salvador, and Mexico, who are sheltered at Abbott House while they seek legal asylum and are resettled with their families in the United States. We wish it could have been live in person with you at the Ossining Public Library, but at this time it was felt that we could share the work with you more safely at home… So here it is, our first ever collaborative Virtual Art Show!
Thank you to the Ossining Public Library, to the Abbott House teachers, to everyone who worked so hard to put this show together, and most especially to the children for inspiring us with their stories and their dreams.
If you would like to support more programs like this for the refugee students in 2020, please CLICK HERE to DONATE.
